L’Exception goes out to meet its customers. Today we meet Clara, founder of The New Cool and client at L'Exception.

Can you introduce yourself?



Clara: My name is Clara, I am the founder of The New Cool, an e-shop brand based on well-being and a yoga studio located in the suburbs of Paris.

What was your background?



Clara: I started doing digital marketing at Samsung until 2017. Then I wanted to launch my own project, while continuing a freelance marketing activity.

I have been doing yoga since 2008, so I decided to create The New Cool. The New Cool is first and foremost an online brand based on well-being and lithotherapy. Lithotherapy is a holistic approach to care using minerals, using the energy of stones. So I had the idea of working on perfumes inspired by lithotherapy, that is to say by integrating crystals inside. Each perfume is based on the energetic virtues of the chosen stone. All perfumes can be found on the e-shop of The New Cool.< br />

This year, I opened a physical location in the Paris suburbs, in Issy-les-Moulineaux. It is a hybrid place that brings together both a yoga and pilates studio, a café and a tea room, as well as a boutique with wellness products including The New Cool range. The idea is to combine all my passions to make it a meeting place. This place also allows me to work on workshops and to connect the people I have met and those I will meet in the future. For the moment, I do not teach yoga, I trained and I wanted to deepen my practice and deploy my knowledge in this field. Today, I work more on the management of The New Cool place.

You've been a customer at L'Exception for 10 years, what is your relationship with fashion?



Clara: I discovered L’Exception thanks to my mother. She is aware of all the news and we share this passion for fashion. I really like discovering new brands and French designers.

How would you describe your style?



Clara: I have been influenced a lot by yoga so I often wear leggings. My style has evolved a lot partly thanks to that and with the period of confinement. Today, I place much more importance on comfort. I tend more towards soft fabrics and looser cuts.

Which brands do you like at L’Exception?



Clara: I really like the shoes from Rivecour and Anthology, which I got to know thanks to L’Exception. They are very comfortable and have this cool and chic side that I really liked. I also loved the Canal Saint Martin sneakers, I wore them every day, and my Momoni pants. I also really like your selection of jewelry, especially those by Aurélie Bidermann.


How was your experience at L’Exception?



Clara: I like the shop, there is always a very good selection. Customer service was also great for the times I needed to contact them.
