More than 90% of Axel Arigato's manufacturing process takes place in Portugal. 60% of the leather they use comes from suppliers fully committed to using renewable energy. In addition, 50% of their production in Portugal is powered by solar panels.
The brand is constantly looking for innovative materials to maintain the quality of their products, while limiting their impact on the planet. All of their leathers are Leather Working Group (LWG) certified, which ensures that leather is manufactured in a more environmentally friendly manner. 80% of the cotton yarns used by the brand are GOTS certified (Organic Textile Certification). Finally, they use recycled polyester, from SEAQUAL® fiber, made from upcycled marine plastic and post-consumer PET.
