Created using their heritage-inspired 'dance' savoir-faire and classic returned stitch technique developed by Rose Repetto in 1947, these black leather brogues are a beautiful blend of elegant design and contemporary cool. Inspired by the very first dance shoes, these classic lace-ups are as comfortable as they are stylish. Cut from the softest leather and lined in a durable canvas, these simple Zizi shoes are perfect for dancefloor fun and everyday wear • we're wearing them with a skater skirt and silk top this season.

In 1956, the Cinderella ballerina, more urban and contemporary, was born under the leadership of Brigitte Bardot, who requested them. Thereafter, the shops are multiplying and international success is there.
It's in Dordogne, France, that the brand puts its production of ballerinas.
In the 70s, Serge Gainsbourg falls under the spell of Zizi, model that Rose Repetto created for her stepdaughter Zizi Jeanmaire, and became a brand ambassador.
In 1999, after the death of Rose, the house has a new life and is revitalized by new models and partnership until in 2007, when Maison Repetto celebrates its 60 years and created the foundation dance for Life. Its purpose is to support the world of dance schools promoting the reintegration of children in distress through artistic expression.
Since, Repetto has diversified offering now the ready-to-wear and leather goods, always adapted to urban and active lives.
