Portuguese Flannel doesnt’ want to follow the movement or the trends. To create their contemporary and timeless shirts at the same time, the creators Antonio and Manuel Magalhaes find their inspiration in authentic people, living by the coast or in the mountains, with a brave and challenging life. Portugal and family have essential roles in the process of creation of Portuguese Flannel. The grandfather then the father and the uncles of the creators were managers of a textile factory. During their childhood, the Magalhae’s brothers were surrounded by the clothing world, even if they went away from it after their father’s death. Then, in the adulthood, Antonio and Manuel returned towards the world of the textile and the fashion. Their collections reflect their personality and their tastes, as well as their family history.
