MATT & NAT was founded in 1995 in Montreal by Inder Bedi. The brand name is a contraction of the English words MAT(T)ERIAL & NATURE. The Canadian brand has strong values : social responsibility, excellence, inclusiveness, integrity, learning, authenticity and love. It’s mantra is «Live beautifully»: the idea is to live in the most beautiful way possible and to appreciate the humanity, creativity and positivism present in each of us. Inspired by the textures and hues of nature, MATT & NAT wants to better protect the planet. The brand is vegan, it does not use leather or other animal substance in the manufacture of its products. Each season, the brand finds new and innovative ways to remain a sustainable and eco-friendly brand. It uses recycled materials such as nylon, cardboard paper, rubber or cork. Since 2007, all MATT & NAT product linings are made from recycled plastic bottles only. And recently, the brand has started recycling bicycle tires. MATT & NAT is now famous all over the world.
