Born in Nancy in 1974, fashion was for Jérôme Dreyfuss a vocation. From the age of 11, he tried his hand at design, offering to make clothes for his school friends with the means at his disposal.He moved to Paris at the age of 17 to study fashion, but quit after three months because he couldn't see "fashion as law". The young Jérôme Dreyfuss joined John Galliano's team as an assistant and spent two years developing his skills at the Maison.
The designer launched his first women's ready-to-wear collection in 1998. In 2002, the designer decided to concentrate primarily on leather goods and launched his first collection of leather accessories, entitled Roots de Luxe .
