Corduroy is a must-have in the unisex wardrobe: historically reserved for the elite, it became more popular in the 19th century through the worker's uniform, which took on its comfort, robustness, and warmth.
The cut is fitted, and topped with a small so-called “Italian” collar. Run along its entire length by small buttons sewn in fleur-de-lys (or “Zampa di Gallina” according to the tradition of Italian tailoring). The detail that makes the difference: a patch chest pocket, which proudly displays the leitmotif logo "Manos, Espiritu y Corazon" of clothes made with Hands, Mind and Heart.

About Misericordia
Misericordia is the first Peruvian brand to be present on the international fashion scene. Founded in 2003 by Aurelyen in a workshop in the suburbs of Lima, the brand is set since 2006 at the heart of the city inside a creation and production lab: La Cabaña de Alta Costura Misericordia.
Misericordia is fully integrated in our "Smart Choice" philosophy because the brand follows the dream to produce each piece ethically by the Misericordia team using tradionnal know-how. All materials are sourced locally. Since 2008, Misericordia also manufactures each season a special line for Kris Van Assche, Dior Homme artistic director. The founder and designer Aurelyen now lives in two continents, between South-America and Paris, where he established the brand for its international development.
