The name Modetrotter was born in October 2008. Marie Courroy, its creator, wanted to offer a different kind of fashion via an online store. A free fashion, inspired more by travels and the street than by magazines and catwalks. The concept appealed to the public, and the site quickly offered numerous fashion references. Following the success of this first adventure where many collaborations are made through capsule collections, Modetrotter decides to launch its own brand and begins its transformation in spring 2015. We find the strong, flexible and creative style of Modetrotter, as well as the theme of travel which will be the common denominator of the four annual spring, summer, fall and winter collections. A huge amount of preparation and fundraising later, Modetrotter presents in March 2016, its very first collection entirely imagined, patented, manufactured and assembled in Ile-de-France. And in 2017, Modetrotter moved to 28 rue d'Aboukir in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, in a space that can accommodate customers, press, partners, and events. A year later, the brand launched a "men's" capsule, collaborating with VEJA, Jimmy Fairly and Benjamin Biolay. Marie and her team do not wish to impose limits on themselves. A desire to launch her own line of decoration? they go for it. A proposal to dress a hotel, they go for it! Modetrotter is more than a brand, it's a real universe.
