Friends for 15 years, Anne-Sophie Baillet & Matthias Lavaux founded the brand Atelier Paulin in 2014, with a common desire : to express emotions through message jewelry. The name of the brand was chosen to promote French craftsmanship (Atelier) and as a tribute to the father of Anne-Sophie, also an entrepreneur (Paulin). The brand first launched a bracelet, named Colette, like Anne-Sophie’s daughter. The former concept-store Colette quickly spotted the jewel, and a collaboration was born. Atelier Paulin relies on ancestral know-how : the hand-shaping of a jewel from a precious metal wire (argentium or gold filled 9 or 14 carats, a copper wire covered with silver or gold plating). The thread can be smooth, twisted or hammered. The French brand also offers a jewellery line in 18-carat gold thread, yellow, pink or white. Made by passionate craftsmen in the brand’s workshops in Paris, Atelier Paulin jewellery is made on demand. The brand is famous for its customizable jewelry, for example with a loved one’s first name or an important date. Initially focused on bracelets, Atelier Paulin now offers necklaces with pendants, earrings, rings, etc. Among the Atelier Paulin collections you will find timeless patterns : snake, angel wing, face, star or astrological signs, revisited in a modern style.
