The Gateway Selvedge is a 14.3oz Japanese selvedge denim that blends tradition with comfort, featuring 2% stretch for a more accessible raw denim experience. Woven with shorter staple cotton in the warp, this fabric has a gritty, textured surface that embodies the rugged character of classic raw denim. But with 2% elastane in the weft, it offers flexibility and eliminates the typical break-in period, making it the perfect entry point for those new to raw denim.
