* About Design Originally designed by Paul A. Sperry in the 1930s, the boat shoe was created to prevent slipping on wet decks. This model faithfully recreates the original design while preserving its authentic heritage. * Material Made with highly durable canvas constructed by twisting ten threads into three tightly woven strands for enhanced strength. The rubber outsole is blended with a higher content of natural rubber to provide stronger protection from external impact. Although slightly heavier, it was intentionally chosen for its durability and long-lasting wear.
