Smart Choice
The articles of the brand Thyrs are handcrafted in France in the respect of the French know-how in leather goods, manufactured in small series to avoid overstocking.
The materials used are environmentally friendly, certified (GOTS, Oeko-Tex, GRS...) and sourced as close as possible to ensure perfect control of the production chain and limit the carbon footprint.
Thyrs uses unconventional materials such as hemp, one of the most ecological materials available, as a substitue to vegan fur. Some models are also made of an alternative material to leather, extracted from pineapple leaves, allowing to recycle this waste traditionally thrown or burned.
Finally, Thyrs uses vegetable tanning, which reduces its ecological footprint: it does not involve any toxic substance for humans or the environment.
