Founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, the House of Gucci has become a classic of transalpine luxury and fashion. Strongly influenced by the equestrian world (before the iconic "GG" was trademarked, its emblems were the bit and stirrup), the brand offers items ranging from bags to Gucci eyewear.
The house asserts a classic Italian style, marked by different eras and influences, from Grace Kelly to Carine Roitfeld and Tom Ford. Although Gucci is now owned by the French group Kering, its main influence remains Alessandro Michele, the creative director, who allows it to keep its Italian label even in the eyewear it designs.
