Awake Concept was founded in 2019 by Lilian Thibault. The manager works alongside Fred, artistic director for whom «design must encourage better consumption», Nghia, in charge of innovation and Elise, product designer.

The name of the brand comes from English and appeals to the public : «wake up!». Awake designers and creatives are indeed very committed to the planet and want the world to wake up to the climate emergency and our consumption patterns to change.

Awake Concept reminds us of the urgent need to act for the climate. The company wants to transform the world with ideas, actions and creations and design the objects of a new world, a new futuristic lifestyle, committed and uncompromising.

The French brand offers innovative, more responsible watches with a contemporary design. Awake uses recycled materials and re-developed materials to make its watches. The brand says no to plastic and instead offers watches with bracelet made of bio-poly or nylon developed from recycled plastic. For example, it uses recycled fishing net to make the case and plastic bottles collected in the oceans for the bracelet.

Awake watches work with solar technology. The watch charges with sunlight, a free and natural energy. So there is no longer a need for a battery, which does not create waste.

The innovative Awake Concept watches are also trendy. Among the collections proposed by the brand, you will find casual style watches, such as the Awake 0.1 or more elegant watches, such as the Odysée model, with steel or cellulose bracelet, as chic as leather. Awake offers watches in sober colours (grey, navy blue, etc.) but also watches with a geometric pattern nato bracelet.

The brand quickly became a success. Just six months after its launch, it distributed watches to G7 delegations. We saw the French Republic President Emmanuel Macron with their blue-white-red model on the wrist.
