The two creators of Herbert Frère Soeur come from different paths: she worked in music and he in a pharmaceutical laboratory. But the brothers and sisters find themselves around a common project: to create their own line of leather goods, in the former workshop of their father founded in 1977 in Brittany. Their goal is to perpetuate the know-how of their father, in this workshop born more than 40 years ago in Fougères. Their leather goods are made for everyday life, but also to enhance it.

Herbert Frère Sœur fits completely into our "Smart Choice" philosophy because its ecological leathers are all vegetable tanned and worked from A to Z in the family workshops of Fougères and Hammamet. Their bags and belts have a leather with a "candle" touch that develops a patina over time. The cows come from Périgord, Limousin and Brittany, while the tanning work, with vegetable tanning, is done in Italy, a country well known for its quality leather work.
