Korres is a natural cosmetic care brand of Greek origin, which was born in the first homeopathic pharmacy in Athens in 1996, created by George KORRES.

Korres Laboratories aim to develop highly effective and innovative natural skin care products by rigorously selecting high quality natural active ingredients, derived from the Greek flora and cultivated in collaboration with local organic farming cooperatives in order to offer safe products without chemical components that respect the skin and the environment.

KORRES, is inspired by the richness of the Greek flora with more than 6500 varieties of plants, including 1200 endemic species, in order to select high quality active plant ingredients to integrate them into the formulas.

PLANTS :
Korres works with plant hunters whose mission is to find the ideal region to cultivate each plant according to the climate and soil fertility while protecting endangered species, favoring the use of cultivated plants or renewable parts of plants.

COOPERATION :
KORRES works with agricultural cooperatives and local communities by teaching them about organic agriculture and sustainable farming systems.
With the collaboration of the University of Agriculture of Athens, KORRES accompanies them throughout the cultivation to the harvest helping them financially by purchasing their production of plant extracts in order to integrate them into the formulas.

EXTRACTION :
Thanks to the close collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy of Athens, KORRES has developed unique extraction technologies, allowing to optimize the composition and concentration of active ingredients for even more cosmetic effectiveness. New exclusive active ingredients are thus created and developed by KORRES Laboratories, constantly promoting the most environmentally friendly extraction technologies.
