The Last Co. aims to change the image of single-use products and encourage their adoption. Through their products, marketing and partnerships, they aim to raise awareness of the environmental threats posed by single-use plastics and to support worthwhile environmental charities.
The Last Co. is a family owned design studio based in London, co-founded by Matt and Katie and their brother-in-law Alistair.
When ordering his daily smoothie, Matt noticed that his juice bar was trying to replace the plastic straws with cardboard straws, but he couldn't help it.
Matt thought there must be a better solution. That's when he came up with the idea of a portable stainless steel straw that was practical and reusable. That's how The Last Straw and The Last Co.® were born.
