About Thousand
Founded by Gloria Hwang in 2015, she admits she never wore a helmet, even as a seasoned cyclist: she found them too cumbersome, too impractical and too futuristic. But it was when she lost a friend in a fatal bicycle accident that she questioned herself. Instead of the science-fiction-looking helmets available on the market, she founded the Thousand brand.
She named her company "Thousand" as a promise. It's a real commitment: she wants to help save 1,000 lives by making people want to wear a helmet, and one of her most famous products is a collection of several helmets called Heritage.
Inspired by the 70's, Thousand helmets will suit all cycling and scooter enthusiasts.
