The name of the brand LOQ is fired by the names of the 2 founders, Keren Longkumer and Valérie Quant. They met in 2011 in Los Angeles, while they were studying shoes deisgn. Both creators quickly realized that they had a mutual interest for non-conventional forms, proportions and materials, as well as an affinity for the precision of details. Native of very opposite areas of the world, Valérie of Los Angeles and Keren from Nagaland in India, both creators found themselves around a relaxed Californian style rich in colors and textures as in India. 4 years after their meeting, LOQ had been born. The purpose of the brand is to redefine the classics, for a modern day woman, well anchored in her time and active : that’s why LOQ does not propose vertiginous heels. Drawn in Los Angeles, LOQ’s shoes are made in Spain. This young brand has already conquered a lot of women, including celebrities. Some LOQ’s shoes were seen in video clips of the singer Solange.
