What if we went back to basics?
L'Exception Paris was born from the meeting between Régis Pennel, founder of the L'Exception concept store and Rémi de Laquintane, former artistic director of Editions MR and creator of Tricot. We set out with one idea in mind: to dress men and women in a contemporary and timeless wardrobe by favouring French or European know-how and a more environmentally friendly design.
We carefully select our workshops for their expertise in order to guarantee you an outfit that meets your requirements. And because we believe in the strength of relationships that are established over time, our collections continue to be developed with trusted partners.
It is in this same spirit that we choose to collaborate with brands with strong values such as Jérome Dreyfuss, APC, Scandinavian Edition or Anthology Paris, known for their know-how in order to offer you a complete wardrobe.
We prefer quality to seasonality. We work relentlessly on the choice of materials and manufacturing. This is why we only release a product when we are convinced that we have finally found the piece that will accompany you every day at the right price.
This constant search for the best is part of a sustainable approach for you but also for the environment. 95% of our products are made in Europe and we work with organic, recycled and animal welfare friendly materials.
We are convinced that it is necessary to reduce the pace of production, so we have chosen to release only two collections per year, favouring the production of small series.
In 2018, we launched L'Exception Paris, focusing on men's clothing. Today, we dress those who wish to assert their singularity on a daily basis through their style and their commitments. It is by making what is an exception an essential that we build with you the fashion of tomorrow.
