At L'Exception Paris, we offer a complete high-end wardrobe. To complete it, we offer a range of belts entirely made in France, in Indre-et-Loire.
Manufacturing
We have used traditional and artisanal know-how to offer unique, authentic and timeless pieces.
For this belt, the tanning used is called vegetable tanning. This is a healthier process for the worker but also for our planet since the tannin is of natural origin (bark, leaves, seeds, root or sap). Moreover, vegetable-tanned leather offers a firmer and more solid material. Its patina is more natural and will become more beautiful over time, making it an ethical and sustainable product.
By selecting a French manufacturing workshop, we honor the traditional and artisanal know-how in order to offer unique, authentic and timeless pieces. The manufacturing methods are a perfect blend of tradition and innovative techniques. While each leather is carefully selected, it is then cut before entering production.
The workshop where our belts are made has been awarded the French label EPV: Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant. This label promotes the renowned and ancestral know-how based on the matrix of traditional techniques.
While valuing local know-how and economy are at the heart of our values, we also make sure that our partners are committed to protecting the environment. This is why our manufacturers respect ecological and environmental standards throughout the creation process. During the making of the belts, a water-based glue, without solvent and without danger for the environment nor for the employees is used.

Care
To take advantage of the exceptional qualities of this article, special attention is required.
First of all, we advise you to clean it with a soft cloth in order to remove dust from the belt. You can also use a special milk to clean the leather thoroughly without drying it out. We then recommend a nourishing cream based on beeswax to make it supple again.
