Essentiel Antwerp was founded in 1999 by Esfan Eghtessadi and Inge Onsea, couple in real life. He is the son of the stylist Nicole Cadine, so he knows well very early the fashion world. The creators propose at first in 1999 a line of T-shirts. There was 4 t-shirts at the time, in 20 different colors. These good basic items are quickly sold. One year later, the couple opens a first store in Antwerp. The following seasons, the cloakroom gets bigger with jackets, dresses, shirts and pants, always in trendy colors and with new materials. Accessories then come to enrich the collection. Essentiel Antwerp opened shops in several cities of Belgium. In 2004, the brand proposes a male collection. Essentiel Antwerp then became famous beyond Belgium. They opened a first store in France in 2006 in Paris and the second one in 2008 in Lille. Today, the brand is known all over the world, thanks to the online sales and to his agents in various countries. Shops were opened in Madrid but also in the Arab emirates and in Korea.
