About Le Rouge Français
Le Rouge Francais is a French brand founded in 2018 by Elodie Carpentier, a biotechnology engineer with a passion for entrepreneurship. During her pregnancy she began to think about the formulations of her make-up products. She started designing her own lipsticks and began researching and developing colorants based on plant pigments.
Madder, Roucou, red radish, elderberry, orcanette, hibiscus, sweet potato, purple corn, tomato lycopene (...) are all sources of inspiration, which, thanks to specific grinding, extraction and infusion processes, reveal natural and original colors. These plants also have strong biological properties to nourish, moisturize, repair and protect the epidermis.
