About La Pelucherie
The house was created in 1976 by the family's grandmother, with the ambition of allowing everyone to offer the most beautiful soft toys. The brand experienced its decline when Maminou retired.
In 2016, the family decided to resurrect her in order to continue the mission initiated by their ancestor. The brand's historic workshop has been found, and the emblematic models of the time have been relaunched, accompanied by new models, all as soft and realistic.
The soft toys are entirely handmade by the workshop's seamstresses, thus perpetuating the tradition established during the grandmother's time. In order to guarantee the optimal beauty and softness of our soft toys, we meticulously choose the fabrics and each of the materials used.
The seamstresses breathe realistic life into each soft toy, using their talent to create creations of striking realism.
Almost 50 years after its creation, the family is determinedly perpetuating their grandmother's desire: to offer everyone access to the most beautiful stuffed animals in the world.
To realize this ambition, in addition to the talent of the seamstresses, each soft toy offered is customizable. Customers have the possibility to add a first name, an important date, or the message of their choice, creating unique and meaningful pieces.
