After working for a few years in the media, Julie Terranova wanted to devote herself to her passion, creation, and launched her jewelry brand in 2014. The idea of YAY is to offer fine jewelry that can be worn every day. It is also possible to wear them in accumulation, to mix styles while remaining chic and trendy. All YAY jewellery is handcrafted in Paris. The French label uses high-quality materials : 14-carat gold-plated, 925 silver, natural stones and Swarovski crystals. YAY has a sense of detail and focuses on quality and meticulous, demanding and precise work. The brand also offers a high-jewellery collection, made with a partner workshop in India, selected during a trip at the end of 2019. The name of the brand comes from the phrase «Yay chou hélou!» which means «Wow it’s beautiful !» in Lebanese. The designer Julie Terranova, from Nice, is a “daughter of the south”. Her mother is Lebanese and her father is Sicilian. Its Mediterranean origins can be found in the YAY collections. The designer is also inspired by travel, art and emotions. Among the YAY collections, you will find traditional fine jewelry : ring with pearls, chain necklace or cord bracelet, but also rock/glamour style earrings with chains, ear climbers or fake piercings.
