April Please is a jewelry brand founded by Julia Maufay and Émilie Dupas in 2016 in Los Angeles. Unable to find pieces to match their image, they set out to create jewelry with character that could bring out each person's personality. Concerned with more responsible manufacturing, the collections are entirely created and made in Paris. April Please is an ethical brand with 3 main commitments: the promotion of local actors and made in France, the encouragement of jewelry recycling, and a preference for a green, anti-waste policy. The jewels are durable, with a brass base insensitive to rust or wear, and are enhanced by a layer of RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) certified 18-carat gold plating, which shows that the metals used are derived from methods that respect both man and the environment. Palladium is also RJC-certified. Thank-you cards, boxes and cases are all certified by the FSC or Imprim'Vert labels, which guarantee that the wood comes from sustainable forests and that the paper is recycled.
