Pepe Barguñó, the founder of Thinking Mu, chose the name of the brand in a wink to his dog. White speckled with black as a cow, it’s nicknamed Mu (which means "meuh" in Spanish). The creator founded his fashion line with a desire to laugh, to change the world if possible, and to spread a positive speech. Committed to respecting the human and the planet, Thinking Mu presents its convictions through clothes with committed messages. The Spanish brand uses sustainable, organic, natural or even innovative materials (hemp, tencel, banana fibres or dried flowers) or recycled from plastic bottles. The dyes are biodegradable and the labels are made of recycled material. Thinking Mu products are GOTS and Fair Trade certified. The brand even proposes a zero waste collection called “trash”, made from textile waste and recycled synthetic materials. Thinking Mu manufactures its garments in Europe (Italy or Spain) as well as in India, in a family factory, a responsible factory that ensures the safety of its employees, as part of a fair trade.
