Lafrançaise is a chic, feminine French knitwear brand that embodies La Française d'aujourd'hui: singular, free and daring. All pieces are made exclusively in France and carry the France Terre Textile label. Their values are based on 5 pillars: commitment and ethics, transparency, collective spirit, audacity and, finally, courage and energy. Most of their raw materials are Oeko-Tex certified. For a more responsible fashion, the brand limits itself to 2 collections a year, making pieces in limited quantities and adjusting them afterwards, thus limiting the amount of dormant stock.
Lafrançaise wants to leave as little impact as possible. All wool waste and defective knitted pieces are recycled through a partnership with a company that uses the raw material as insulation or upholstery. They also work hand-in-hand with Hipli, a company that offers recycled and recyclable packaging. All our knits are repairable and recyclable, so if you get a tear in your sweater, just send it back to Lafrançaise for repair!
