Fauvette Paris is a French brand founded in 2013 by Claire Rischette. She offers leather bags, belts and accessories, elegant and feminine models with vintage inspirations. Fauvette bags are actually named after pretty women, some of them old, like Josephine, Aimée or Rosalie.Fauvette Paris designs quality pieces that last over time, with careful details. The bags are made from cowhide leather, with smooth, crocodile or lizard embossed, velvet or grained finishes. These leathers are carefully selected and come from French, Italian and Spanish tanneries. The jewel clasps of the bags are designed by Claire and then manufactured and gilded with 24K gold in Paris. The brand also works with one of the last French buckle makers for the raw brass belt buckles.the designer first made all her pieces from scratch alone in her workshop in Paris. She now collaborates with a second workshop in France that makes some of the bags and small leather goods in limited series.
