Inspired by art, traveling and ancestral know-how, Sébastian Germès and Camille Levai decided to combine those interests to their passion for the noble material that is leather. In 2012, they founded Craie, a french brand of leather bags and shoes, literally “chalk stick”, remembering us of our childhood school blackboard that welcomed our first inspirational drawings.

Each collection is unique, poetic, full of creativity and reflects their rigorous work. Constantly looking for new leather treatment in order to reinvent their favorite material, this brand is a true tribute to luxury handcraft. Their winter collection makes no difference and presents beautiful models with original twists.

Craie is fully integrated into our "Smart Choice" philosophy because the brand promotes vegetable tanning, uses European-grown linen and wraps all of its products in recycled kraft paper.
