Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson, friends since adolescence, are the founders of the Kujten brand. In 2012, they realized that with their strong interest in fashion and their knowledge of finance, they were perfectly capable of creating their own clothing brand. The two founders bet everything on mesh, and especially cashmere. It was after a trip to Mongolia that their passion for this noble material was born. Their desire is to shake the codes of cashmere and offer modern, quality clothes, with a beautiful palette of colors and a sense of detail. The brand wants to innovate constantly, but always in quality. The name of the brand comes from the name of the highest peak of Mongolia, origin of cashmere and land of manufacture of Kujten clothing. Kujten clothing is made with respect for animals and Mongolian partners. The mesh used comes from the Capra Hisca goat, a goat with unusual hair. These goats withstand a temperature of -40 Celsus degrees in winter. They have a soft, silky fleece that moults in spring. This breed of goat is noble and rare. For the making of their collections, the designers make numerous trips to Mongolia, to meet cashmere producers, and select the most beautiful fibers. From the wire to the realization of the clothing, 10 steps are necessary, a know-how very well mastered. We appreciate Kujten clothes for their soft and supple material, bold colours and modern cuts.
