Lionel and Carole founded the Supergreen brand in March 2020, with the desire to offer quality shoes in the most responsible way possible. The collection is currently composed of 5 models: derbies, moccasins, Chelsea boots, lace-up boots and sandals, offered in sober black or brown colors. The Supergreen shoes are biodegradable. They are devoid of animal leather, and are composed of plant fibers such as corn fiber or bamboo fiber. For the soles, the brand relies on bio-sourced materials, such as hevea milk, or recycled materials. Supergreen's eco-responsible approach can be seen in the details, such as the water-based glue, the recycled organic cotton laces, etc. Made in Portugal, OEKO-TEX certified, Supergreen shoes are sold in pre-order or in limited series. The brand is PETA certified and participates in the "1% for the Planet" program. Finally, the company is keen to involve its customers, and asks them for their opinion, their needs and desired characteristics for the creation of new models, and also makes them participate in the choice of the environmental association to support in the year.
