About Iokko
IOKKO is the story of Julie, creative by nature, it is after the discovery of a DIY candle kit that she became interested in the craft of candle making. Passionate about the world of decoration, she has always had this desire to create. Julie then started to look for alternatives, the most natural possible in terms of ingredients, and to imagine her first candles with a vegetable wax of soya.
In parallel to her work in the optical industry, she started to make her own candles at home, in her kitchen, and to experiment with several fragrances and to carry out numerous tests.
Curious and true to her values, she left her job in 2021 to devote her time entirely to IOKKO. After 10 years as an optician, the IOKKO adventure was an obvious choice for her as she returned to the basics with a craft that she is passionate about.
