The Kawataro Selvedge is a fresh greencast interpretation of the brand's legendary Japan Heritage denim. Crafted from 14.5oz Japanese Selvedge denim, the Kawataro Selvedge features a distinctly slubby, uneven texture created through low-tension weaving and the use of irregularly-shaped slub yarns. The yarns are rope-dyed in indigo, and due to their unique shape, the dye penetrates unevenly thus resulting in varied absorption across the fabric. As the denim fades with wear, it reveals a striking spectrum of indigo shades, producing high-contrast, three-dimensional fades. Additional details include contrast stitching, a custom Raging Kong leather patch, pink selvedge ID, and antique copper buttons and rivets.
